Pereseal 702 High Performance Acrylic Sealant

Pereseal 702 is a pure acrylic sealant for the everyday gaps on a building site: aluminium frames, air-con ducting, wallboard joints and cracks. It guns easily, tools smooth with soapy water and takes paint once dry.

It sticks to aluminium, ducting and most porous building materials without a primer, and you can apply it to damp (not wet) surfaces. Once cured it cuts noise travelling through partition joints.

It takes up to ±15% joint movement, which covers most interior finishing and frame perimeters. For glazing, façades and wet areas, use a silicone such as Pereseal N or Pereseal AF.

• Tested by TÜV SÜD PSB (2013) to the ASTM C920:2008 test methods
• No staining or colour change (ASTM C510)
• No sag in vertical joints (ASTM C639)
• No bond failure under cyclic movement (ASTM C719)
• No cracking after accelerated weathering and cold bend (ASTM C793)
• No cracking or chalking after heat ageing (ASTM C1246)

Good to know

• Keep it away from water for 24 hours after application
• Not for joints that stay submerged
• Apply between +1 °C and +30 °C
• Joint width 5 mm to 50 mm; minimum depth 5 mm
