Pereseal N Weatherproof Neutral Seal Silicone

Pereseal N is our neutral-cure weatherproofing silicone. It cures with a mild oxime smell instead of vinegar and doesn't corrode metals or attack alkaline surfaces like concrete, so it goes where an acetoxy silicone can't: aluminium frames, masonry, stone and most plastics.

It comes in two formulas. Clear is soft (Shore A 15) with over 200% elongation. Black, white and grey are high-modulus (Shore A 42) for firmer perimeter and façade joints. Both take ±30% movement and work from −50 °C to +150 °C.

Use it for window and door perimeters, façade and roofing joints, gutters, containers and vehicles. It's tack-free in about 15 minutes and cures 10 mm deep in 7 days.

Standards and tests

• Tested by TÜV SÜD PSB (2014) to the ASTM C920:2008 test methods: no staining (ASTM C510), no sag (ASTM C639), no bond failure under cyclic movement (ASTM C719), no cracking after accelerated weathering (ASTM C793)
