Fire rating belongs to a tested system
A fire-rated sealant is not a universal plug for every opening. Performance depends on the complete configuration described in the report or assessment: wall or floor construction, service type, joint size, backing, depth and orientation.
Where Pereseal FR fits
Pereseal FR is an intumescent acrylic sealant with archived certificates and test reports in the technical library. Those files are preserved for review, but every migrated document is currently marked needs-review. A technical owner and the project’s responsible fire professional must confirm applicability before production specification.
